Movie in Time

Du Levande (You, the Living) 2007

Directed by Roy Anderson from Sweden. Everything is tinted, even people's skin. All shot from distance, no close-up shot. My favorite part was broken-hearted girl's dream.

スウェーデンのロイ·アンダーソン監督作品。何か独特なスタイルの映画。色が全て白っぽい。出てくる人間の肌までも白い。遠目に撮られているので劇を見ている様な感じがした。失恋した女の夢の場面が良し。

Book in Time

浅田次郎のプリズンホテルがおもしろかった。春夏秋冬の全４巻。特に３巻の冬が良い。映画化してもおかしくない内容だと思う。

A melancholic funny story about a retired train engineer. Most of the scenes were shot at night. Nice colors and BGM. Directed by Bent Hamer. I've been a fan of his films. Relatively speaking, I thought this one has similar cinematographic style to Aki Kaurismäki's style.

定年で退職する鉄道員の話なので物悲しいけれど、滑稽なウィットが所々あって良し。殆どのシーンが夜に撮影されている。画面の色やBGMが心地良い。何となくアキ·カウリスマキの映像スタイルに似てる？

My Hand

I have to have another surgery soon. A titanium pin is coming out of my skin everytime when I move thumb, and it hurts a lot... I cannot believe I have to race with this hand this Friday...

親指を動かすとピンが中から突き出てきて、その度に注射針が刺さる感覚。

果たしてこの手でレースできるのでしょうか？
